It doesn't seem long ago since I read this book and things looked optimistic. Most of the items discussed seemed doable and it was based on a sound review of common everyday activities. What I noticed was that most of the world was doing these thinks but there was a political push back in the U.S. based on the concept that it would ruin our economy.
